REVEAL 2020 EXHIBITION
NORTHUMBRIA UNIVERSITY, 2020
Reveal 2020 acted as the final year exhibition for the Northumbria BA Fine Art Programme. My exhibition contribution centred focus on my investigations into the levels of human consciousness: taking inspiration from Sigmund Freud’s theories into the subject, along with my own personal examination of experiences, dreams and thoughts. The series of oil paintings I hoped to show at Reveal 2020 was instead realised in a like for like digital rendering instead, due to the circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic.
UTOPIAS EXHIBITION: HAPPY VALLEY

In my penultimate year studies at Northumbria University, I contributed a triptych of oil works towards my thematic group along with other participating students. The concept of Utopias presented me with wide ranging opportunities to define what exactly a utopia means to us as collective individuals. I explored the spectrum of utopia to dystopia through narrative structures, understanding how it could potentially be realised, if at all. The Utopias exhibition was the first formal exhibition I participated in.
